Yom Kippur with Neshama Center

Yom Kippur begins at sundown on Tuesday September 22. This year we are holding services at The Little Nell Hotel in Aspen, Colorado

We are so excited to be welcoming Cantor Michal Rubin to help us with our services. Cantor Michal was a Cantor of a conservative synagogue in Columbia SC for the past 12 years. Of these 12 years she spent six of them as a cantorial student with Aleph and six as an ordained Chazzan. She has also served as a clergy, educator, an officiant and leader of many rituals at her synagogue. She has led High Holiday services (Rosh Hashanah and Yom kippur) for 12 years and was instrumental in programming them. And, of course, she led services during all the other holidays; taught a variety of classes as well as numerous Bar/Bat Mitzvah students.

Rosh Hashanah 2015

This year's High Holidays were extra special as they marked the 10 years of Neshama Center Aspen. This year Rosh Hashanah fell on Sunday, September 13 and Monday September 14. Services were held at The Little Nell Hotel in Aspen and we feel so fortunate to be a part of such an amazing community. We would like to thank a few people who helped welcome the New Year and make it so special.

Thank you to The Little Nell Staff, it is always a pleasure working with you. You are exceptionally organized, helpful and talented in turning the room into such a beautifully sacred space.

We had a very special service led by a few of our post Bat-Mitzvah students, Jordan, Carson and Zoey. Thank you girls for all of your help and beautiful voices! You did incredible.

Thank you to our amazing musicians, Tom, Bill and Sarah for adding such gorgeous sounds and music to our services.

Thank you Eden for filling our hearts by blowing the Shofar and helping us lift our prayers to the heavens.

Thank you to Gordy for helping us set up and transform the room into a holy place.

We are so fortunate to have such a beautiful congregation filled with so many wonderful people! Thank you all who attended our services and see you on September 22 and 23 for Yom Kippur, the day of atonement and forgiveness. Shanah Tova!
